I had the incredible honor of speaking at the 124th Utah State Society Daughters of the American Revolution State Conference, where I shared the story of Dr. Joseph Warren and the vital role he played in the American Revolution. It was truly humbling to be in a room filled with individuals dedicated to preserving our nation’s history and honoring those who came before us.

Utah State Regent, Kathryn Asay, shared these kind words about my presentation:

"As the Utah State Regent of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, it was a privilege and great honor to be addressed by Author Jeffery J. McKenna at the Utah DAR State Conference. Mr. McKenna is well educated, articulate, personable and dynamic. He is passionate about preserving American History as he presents excerpts from his inspiring book, Saving Dr. Warren...A True Patriot." The reading of Saving Dr. Warren...A True Patriot is an informative, interesting and entertaining account of Patriots of the American Revolution for both children and adults."

While at the conference I was also awarded the Ellen Hardin Walworth Medal for Patriotism in 2021. This award is given by the National DAR, and honors an adult who has displayed exemplary patriotism in the promotion of the American ideals of God, Home and Country through faithful and meritorious service to community, state, or nation.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity for my efforts to be recognized by such an esteemed group. The Daughters of the American Revolution do incredible work in keeping our nation’s past alive, and I was honored to be a part of their event. Thank you to all who attended and continue to carry on the legacy of the patriots who fought for our freedom! 🇺🇸
