I had an incredible time speaking at the Nebraska DAR State Conference, where history truly came to life! One of the most memorable moments was watching a Marine reenact one of the final scenes from Saving Dr. Warren... A True Patriot—a powerful and moving tribute to the sacrifice of those who fought for our freedom.
Another highlight was seeing the two WWII uniforms on display, honoring the brothers’ stories that begin the novel. It was a touching reminder of the courage and dedication of those who served, both in the Revolutionary War and beyond.
I also enjoyed meeting so many passionate history lovers while signing books, and I was grateful for the opportunity to donate the proceeds from book sales to the Nebraska DAR. A huge thank you to the Nebraska DAR for their warm welcome and for their commitment to preserving and sharing America’s history! 🇺🇸
