I was honored to take part in the Junior Patriot Award Ceremony, where hundreds of Washington County 5th graderswere recognized for their knowledge of American history and civic responsibility. Seeing young students engaged in learning about our nation's founding principles was both inspiring and uplifting.
The event, hosted by the Color Country Chapter of the DAR and the Sons of the American Revolution, is a testament to the dedication of educators, parents, and organizations committed to keeping patriotism alive in the next generation. It was a privilege to celebrate these students’ hard work and passion for history.
Congratulations to all the Junior Patriot Award recipients! Your enthusiasm for learning about our country’s past ensures a bright future.
